Snow Lake Lodge, Mount Snow, Vermont Match Art Print

from $46.00

While the pace of growth at Mount Snow was impressive during its first decade, Schoenknecht was just beginning to get his stride. In 1960 he opened Snow Lake Lodge. It was his dream hotel, an impressive base lodge with a beautiful (and massive) man-made lake.

With his deluxe hotel a reality, Schoenknecht turned to the future. He unveiled an impressive 20-year plan that would include nearly 40 new lifts and six additional terrain areas.

RANDOM FACT!! He even commissioned the Atomic Energy Commission to explode an underground nuclear bomb to create a bowl for skiing and add more vertical feet to the resort. Thankfully, calmer heads prevailed and his request was denied. More here.

It’s a thing of beauty.

A word about sizing!

If you have space for the 13” x 38”, I would highly recommend as the larger the print, the more dramatic and glorious. But any size will look gorgeous.

These are all frame-ready print with approx 2” all around so no need for a mat.
